Window Cleaning Terms and Conditions
1. Rain Cleaning Policy
We operate in light to moderate rain as rainwater is naturally free of impurities and will not cause streaks on freshly cleaned windows. Our cleaning methods ensure that your windows stay sparkling even in rainy conditions. In the event of significant rain affecting the quality of our work, we offer a Rain Guarantee. If rain affects the quality of your cleaning and causes visible streaks or spots, we will re-clean the affected windows free of charge. Please contact us within 48 hours of service to schedule the re-clean.
2. Payments
• Payment Methods: Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise arranged in writing. We accept payments via BACS (bank transfer)and cash.
• Late Payments: A late fee of 5%of the total service amount will be applied if payment is not received within 7 daysof the service date.
• Deposit Policy: For larger jobs, a deposit of 20%may be required to secure the appointment.
3. Access Requirements
Clients must ensure that windows are accessible at the time of the scheduled service. If the rear of the property is not accessible, we will proceed with cleaning the front of the property and charge the full price unless we have been informed in advance that the rear will be inaccessible. Any other barriers (e.g., locked gates, blocked windows) may result in delays or incomplete service.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment on the day of service, please notify us as soon as possible. Same-day cancellations may incur a cancellation fee of 25% of the service cost. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation to help us maintain efficient scheduling.
5. Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are unhappy with any part of the service, please contact us within 48 hours, and we will rectify the issue promptly.
6. Liability
While we take every precaution, our liability for damage during window cleaning is limited to direct damage caused by our negligence. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or defects in the windows or window frames.
7. Safety
Our cleaners follow all safety protocols to protect your property and our staff. Please notify us of any safety concerns (e.g., loose windows, fragile items) prior to the scheduled service.
8. Weather Conditions
In the case of extreme weather (such as heavy rain, thunderstorms, or high winds), we reserve the right to reschedule the service for safety reasons. We will contact you to arrange a new time that is convenient.
9. 3-Clean Policy
• By joining our regular window cleaning service, you agree to a minimum of 3 cleans.
• If you cancel the service before the completion of 3 cleans, you will be liable for the cost of the remaining cleans.
• Skipping Cleans: No more than 1 cleanmay be skipped within the first 3 cleans. If more than 1 clean is skipped, you will still be liable for the cost of the skipped clean(s). Skipped cleans must be rescheduled within a reasonable timeframe as determined by the company.
10. General Terms
By booking a window cleaning service, you agree to these terms and conditions. We strive to provide the best service possible, and these policies are in place to ensure the safety and satisfaction of both our clients and staff.
